The AS-6 mkII is a 1U rack-mountable audio source unit that combines six playback modes into a single, compact device. Its sleek front panel features a full-colour TFT display that clearly presents mode and settings information, including a clock when in standby. Playback and menu navigation are controlled via the front panel buttons or the included remote control handset. Playback options include a slot-feed CD player, USB and SD card inputs, FM and DAB/DAB+ radio tuners, and a Bluetooth® receiver. For radio reception, a compact magnetic spring antenna is supplied, which connects to the F-type socket on the rear panel, or can be replaced with a roof-mounted aerial for optimal signal quality. This mkII version offers both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR outputs for left and right channels, making it a versatile solution for background music and continuous audio playback in professional sound system installations.
