The idea of the ZETA modem is to interface it with machinery, equipment, remote assets and more, such that data can be sent via its serial port over the cellular network to a central hub or office. Imagine the time and cost saved by being able to communicate with remote equipment, getting the information you need via your server/PC rather than having to make a time consuming visit to a site. The ZETA itself is a clever piece of hardware, and is ready for customers to add their own software, made up of AT Commands and Python scripts.
