Your Masterplug non-latching single socket safety RCD adaptor continuously monitors the power supply to an electrical appliance and cuts off the power within 40 milliseconds if an earth current fault is detected. This is fast enough to prevent a fatal electrical shock. The Masterplug Safety RCD Adaptor can be used with any 240V electrical appliance but it is particularly valuable on appliances that might cut or drill through their own cable, appliances that might come into contact with moisture or water, appliances that are vulnerable to the entry of fingers, hair and foreign bodies and appliances that can be interfered with by children.
