Product Overview
The MIDI shield allows you to use your Arduino based device to control various musical devices with the widely used and well supported MIDI communication protocol.
- Use the Arduino UART pins to send and receive MIDI event messages
- Provides opto-isolated MIDI In and OUT ports
- Potentiometers are connected to analogue pins 1 & 2 and can be used to control a range of functions
- The board also features a reset button, three push buttons and red & green status LEDs
- A RUN/PROG switch allows you to switch the Arduino over to serial without having to remove the shield
- Supplied in kit form, soldering required
