Product Overview
This kit makes for a great introduction to soldering and comes with all the parts required to add a serial backpack to an LCD display. Not only that, once assembled this kit is also capable of functioning as an Arduino compatible dev board!
- The kit includes an ATmega328 microprocessor that is pre-programmed with the LCD firmware
- All unused GPIO pins have been broken out to 0.1" headers
- The display is a 5V white on black 16x2 LCD with backlight
- Communication requires 5V TTL serial
- Supplied as a DIY through-hole soldering kit
