The Whadda WPB109 ESP32 development board is a comprehensive development platform for Espressif’s ESP32 chipset, the upgraded cousin of the popular ESP8266. Like the ESP8266, the ESP32 is a WiFi-enabled microcontroller, but also adds Bluetooth low energy support (Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE & Bluetooth Smart) and 28 I/O pins. The ESP32’s power and versatility make it ideally suited to function as the brains of any number of IoT projects.
- Espressif ESP-WROOM-32 Chipset
- Provides 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth® v4.2 wireless connectivity
- Onboard red LED as well as Hall Effect and temperature sensors
- Ultra-low power analogue pre-amplifier
- Dedicated boot and reset buttons
- 2x 8-bit DACs, 12-bit SAR ADC
- SPI, I2S, I2C and UART interfaces
- The LED PWM, UART, I2C, I2S and general purpose SPI functions can be configured to any GPIO
- LED PWM (up to 16 channels)
- Deep sleep mode to lower power consumption when preferable
