Conductivity Testers
Browse our range of conductivity meters for measuring the electrical conductivity in a solution. A small electrical current flows between two electrodes set around 1cm apart. If a high concentration of ions is present in the solution, the conductivity level is high, resulting in a fast current. A lower concentration of ions present means the conductivity level is lower and the electrical current is slower. These meters are regularly used in hydroponics, aquaculture and freshwater systems to monitor the number of nutrients, salts or impurities in the water. Make sure the conductivity meter is calibrated accurately before use.
