CORONAVIRUS SERVICE UPDATE MESSAGE

Due to COVID-19 we have implemented numerous safety measures to protect our distribution team and ensure a safe working environment. We're sure you'll agree how important it is that we adhere to safety guidelines laid out by the Government - people must come first. As you can appreciate this has a big impact on productivity and workload capacity, for both CPC and our delivery network partners. It may occassionally impeed our ability to maintain the outstanding service and delivery times that you've become accustomed to. We apologise in advance for any delays, but ultimately the safety of our employees and their families is our main priority. That said, please know that behind the scenes we're making heroic efforts day & night to get your orders to you quickly, and to prioritise the needs of our Essential Services customers. As we navigate safely through this period, we thank you for your patience, understanding and loyalty.

Things to be aware of:

  • We are currently working in line with the Government Safety Guidelines.
  • Social distancing means we have reduced the number of staff in our warehouse to ensure the safety of all our employees.
  • We are prioritising orders for Essential Services.
  • UPS and Royal Mail delivery networks are also impacted, which may cause unexpectated delays.
  • Our suppliers have been impacted too and lead times are constantly changing. We are trying to update these as regularly as possible.

IMPORTANT: Please be aware that lead times from our suppliers can change even after your order is confirmed, especially for high demand PPE Equipment. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these unforseen delays.

  • We offer free standard 3-5 day delivery on all UK mainland online orders over £17.50 (ex VAT).
    Please note that this may be subject to delays.
  • Same day despatch when you order before 6pm on a weekday.
    Due to Coronavirus and current order volumes, we cannot guarantee same day despatch.
  • Orders submitted on a Saturday or Sunday will be despatched the next business day.
  • Items on backorder will be despatched as soon as they arrive back in stock.
  • Goods will be delivered by Royal Mail or a courier if the weight or value of the goods is high.
  • Offer does not include direct ship accounts – standard terms and conditions apply.
  • Some orders may get to you next day if that is the most efficient way for us to send it.
  • This method means we will deliver in the most efficient way for our warehouse, not necessarily the quickest.
  • If you would like to specifically request a timed delivery or courier service, we will charge you for the value listed against the option you select.
  • Free delivery only applies for the FREE standard delivery (3-5 days) option.
  • Surcharges are applicable for orders delivered to non UK mainland addresses. If a surcharge is required you will be advised before your order is despatched.

Order before 6pm for same day despatch

Our team is working day and night in an attempt to ensure orders received before 6pm on a weekday for in-stock UK items are despatched the same day. However, due to the impact of COVID-19, this cannot always be guaranteed.Please try and get your order submitted in advance of 6pm in order to allow for any necessary checks that we may need to carry out on your order.

Orders submitted on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped out the next business day.

Items on backorder will be despatched when they arrive back in stock.

Yes. At the bottom of your shopping basket you can select the option to download your shopping basket. Choose a file name and location where you would like it to be saved and the shopping basket will be saved as a .csv file.

Yes. In the shopping basket, you can save your basket by clicking "Load / Save Basket" and entering a name of your choice in the "Name" field. The saved shopping basket is then available in "My Account".

Delivery instructions and order comments allow you to attach information to your order. As you checkout, the delivery page has a field named "Delivery Instructions", just enter your notes into this field.

Due to additional exporting charges and safety and security measures, we must be contacted first (email: internationalsales@cpc.co.uk) before we can export the goods. This will enable us to check if delivery to your region is possible and to fully inform you of any charges and regulations applicable to your order.

Yes, you can visit our Sales Counter and pay by cash (Preston, UK). Alternatively email sales@cpc.co.uk or call 03447 880088 to open a trade account or find out other payment methods that would suit you.

Yes. If you are on credit hold for being over your account "credit limit", you can still place orders using a credit card. If you are on credit hold due to "being on stop" (old invoices that are overdue), you must contact the credit control department on 03447 880000.
