Product Overview

The LA 55-P from LEM is a current transducer. It features instantaneous output, excellent accuracy, very good linearity, low temperature drift, optimized response time, wide frequency bandwidth, no insertion losses, high immunity to external interference and current overload capability. This current transducer is used for the electronic measurement of currents (DC, AC, pulsed, mixed) with galvanic separation between the primary circuit and the secondary circuit. It is mainly used in AC variable speed drives and servo motor drives, static converters for DC motor drives, battery supplied applications, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Switched Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) and power supplies for welding applications.
  • Closed loop current transducer using the hall effect technology
  • Primary nominal current of 50A
  • 0.65% accuracy
  • Primary current measuring range is ±70A
  • Supply voltage range from ±12V to ±15V
  • Conversion ratio is 1 : 1000
  • Secondary nominal rms current is 50mA
  • Insulated plastic case recognized according to UL 94-V0
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
  • PCB mounting
