Product Overview

The Startech SDOCK1EU3P2 is a single bay hard drive eraser and sanitiser that can wipe SATA HDDs and SSDs without a host computer. The dock is compatible with 2.5" and 3.5" drives of any capacity and file format, including 4Kn. The eraser provides comprehensive options with nine erase modes that support a variety of security requirements and even supports connecting an RS232 serial printer to print a record of the procedure. Easy configuration and setup with a digital LCD display, push button controls and multifunction LEDs. The erase can also be used as a USB 3.0 to SATA adaptor when connected to a computer, with transfer speeds up to 5Gb/s.

  • Supports connecting a serial printer (not included) via DB9 RS232 to print physical record of deletions
  • Also functions as a USB 3.0 to SATA dock when connected to a computer
