Product Overview

The TESTO 405I is a hot wire anemometer smart and wireless probe. It is a wireless instrument for measuring air flow velocity, temperature and volume flow. It is equipped with a telescopic shaft which extends to 15" for easy in-duct testing. User can reliably determine timed and multipoint flow traverses. Users can read the measurements using the Testo Smart Probes App installed on their smart device. The app lets users configure duct dimensions to calculate volume flow measurements. Use the Testo 405i along with the Testo 605i thermohygrometer to determine cooling and heating performance. It works on smart devices with either Android or Apple OS. The Testo Smart Probes App is a powerful and easy to use tool. It allows user to remotely read measurements from up to 6 Smart Probes and easily document and report the results. All measurement data is displayed as instrument readings, tables or graphs and can be quickly saved as PDF or excel files.
  • Measurement range from -20°C to +60°C (NTC), 0m/s to 30m/s (velocity-hot wire anemometer)
  • Accuracy is ±0.5°C( NTC), ±(0.1m/s+5% of mV)(0 to 2m/s), ±(0.3m/s+5% of mV)(2 to 15m/s)(velocity)
  • Resolution is 0.1°C(NTC), 0.01m/s (hot air anemometer)
  • Simple configuration of dimension and geometry of duct cross-section for determining volume flow
  • Convenient for working in ventilation ducts with telescopic tubewhich can be extended up to 400mm
  • Convenient to operate
  • Length probe shaft is 400mm
  • Dimension is 200mm x 30mm x 41mm, operating temperature range from -20 to +50°C
  • System requirements requires iOS 8.3 or newer, Android 4.3, mobile end device with Bluetooth 4.0
  • Supplied with 3x AAA batteries
