Product Overview

TLE6250GV33XUMA1 is a high-speed CAN-transceiver. This transceiver is optimized for high-speed differential mode data transmission in automotive applications and industrial applications and they are compatible with ISO 11898. This transceiver works as an interface between the CAN protocol controller and the physical differential bus in both 12V systems and 24V systems. This transceiver is based on smart power technology (SPT), which allows bipolar and CMOS control circuitry in accordance with DMOS power devices to coexist in the monolithic circuit. It is designed to withstand the severe conditions of automotive applications and provides excellent EMC performance. It is used in applications such as engine control units (ECUs), transmission control units (TCUs), chassis control modules, and electric power steering.
  • CAN data transmission rate upto 1Mbit/s, receive-only mode and stand-by mode
  • Suitable for 12V and 24V applications, versions for 5V and 3.3V microcontrollers
  • Excellent EMC performance (very high immunity and very low emission)
  • Bus pins are short circuit proof to ground and battery voltage, overtemperature protection
  • Supply voltage range from 4.5V to 5.5V, AEC-Q100 qualified
  • Current consumption is 6mA typical at (recessive state; VTxD = V33V)
  • TxD pull-up resistance is 25Kohm typical at (4.5V VCC 5.5V)
  • Differential input resistance is 40Kohm typical at (recessive state)
  • Output current is -300µA typical at (VCC = 0V; VCANH = VCANL = -7V)
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to 150°C, DSO-8 package
