Product Overview

0498040.M is a MIDI® bolt-down fuse. It employs diffusion pill technology to offer time-delayed protection to high-current wiring harnesses. The bolt-down automotive fuse boasts a compact design, enabling greater circuit protection in less space. This space-saving MIDI® fuse protects high-current wiring harnesses. It employs diffusion pill technology to offer time-delay characteristics. Use MIDI fuses with ratings of 150A to 200A only for short circuit protection. Applications include cars, trucks, SUVs, offroad vehicles, buses, watercraft as approved by Littelfuse®. Complies with standard UL 248-1 as a Special Purpose Fuses in UL file E71611 (40-100A) and Directive 2011/65/EU.
  • Color-coded ampere labels aid identification
  • Compact design and light weight enable greater circuit protection in less space
  • 32VDC voltage rating
  • 40A current rating, black colour, 4mm² test cable size
  • M5 bolt size, 65mV typ test voltage drop, tin plated copper terminals material
  • 1.40mohm typ cold resistance, 10,000A²s typ I²t
  • PA66-GF25 (U.L. 94 Flammability rating – V0) black housing material
  • Recommended environmental temperature range from -40˚C to +125˚C
