Product Overview

The HCS20 is a clip-on microphone for wind instruments. The clip is placed on the bell of a trumpet, saxophone, trombone, tuba or other wind instrument. The cardioid polar pattern allows it to be used on stage in high SPL conditions and its linear frequency response ensures natural, clear and powerful sound. It should be powered directly with lead via the supplied IN-LINE preamplifier, or connected directly to a bodypack transmitter.

  • Built-in windscreen (additional external windscreen included)

  • Designed for on-stage use with instruments, specifically saxophone, clarinet, trombone, trumpet

  • Frequency response: 50Hz to 16kHz
  • Impedance: 200Ω ±30%
