A fire alarm call point, also known as a manual call point, allows personnel to raise the alarm in the event of a fire by pressing the fire alarm break glass to trigger the alarm system. All our fire alarm call points are fully approved to the latest standards, including EN54-11, LPCB 166b/39 and 166b/40. We recommend that you position the call point 1.4m above the floor, no more than 30m apart, at a readily accessible position along exit routes and all exits leading to the open air. Emergency Door Release Break Glass units allow personnel to unlock perimeter and interior doors equipped with fail-safe electric locks in the case of emergency.
