Product Overview

The FatCage MB901SPR-B R1 is a dual bay RAID enclosure that supports up to two 2.5/3.5" SATA drives in a standard dual 5.25" PC bay. The built-in hardware RAID chipset allows you to easily create a RAID 1 array without needing a special motherboard or controller card. Equipped with an advanced LED system, the enclosure provides effective monitoring of the RAID array without the need for dedicated software. The FatCage utilises the interchangeable EZ-Tray system for easy drive swapping without powering down the computer and is compatible with other Icy Dock products.
  • Internal drive enclosure that supports two 2.5/3.5" SSD or HDD drives

  • Utilises the interchangeable EZ-Tray system for easy drive swapping, maintenance and compatibility with other Icy Dock products.
  • Built-in JMS562 hardware RAID chipset that supports RAID 1 and JBOD modes
  • Comprehensive LED status indicators for intuitive RAID system monitoring
  • Active Power Technology (APT) - drive activity LED only activates if a drive is installed in the bay
  • SATA Transfer speeds up to 6Gb/s
  • SATA 7-pin host & 2x 15-pin power input, with support for locking latch cables
  • Heavy duty metal construction with ventilation for passive cooling
  • Anti-EMI & grounding technology to prevent electromagnetic interference
