Product Overview

N2889A is a low-cost passive probe provides up to 350MHz bandwidth and features high-input resistance of 10Mohm (at 10:1 mode) to address a wide range of measurement needs with low probe loading. The N2889A comes with a convenient switch in the probe handle that lets you switch between a 1:1 and 10:1 attenuation ratio. The probe can be adjusted for low-frequency compensation and high-frequency compensation. For the best measurements you should compensate your probe to match its characteristics to the oscilloscope.
  • Bandwidth: DC to 350MHz (at 10:1), DC to 10MHz (at 1:1)
  • Risetime: 1nsec (at 10:1), 35nsec (at 1:1) (10%-90%)
  • Input resistance: 10Mohm (at 10:1), 1Mohm (at 1:1 when terminated to 1Mohm)
  • Input capacitance: 11pF(at 10:1), 60pF (at 1:1)
  • Maximum input: 300VRMS (or 400Vpk) CAT I/II (at 10:1), 150V RMS CAT I/II (at 1:1)
  • 1.3m cable length
  • CAN/CSA-C22.2 no. 61010-031:17/A1:20, ANSI/UL 61010-031, IEC 61010-031: 2015/AMD1:2018
  • Operating temperature range from 0 to +50°C
