This is also an ideal lightweight tripod head for bird spotters. The BV-5 can be combined with any tripod with a 3/8-inch tripod screw. The control arm allows you to take smooth shots or follow a moving subject with ease. The BV-5 video head is made of aircraft aluminium and is black anodised to ensure high durability. The BV-5 is CNC machined from black anodised aircraft aluminium, making this liquid-cushioned video head extremely lightweight. With only 528 grams and a load capacity of up to 4 kilos static weight, this is an ideal head for bird spotters and nature filmers, for example. This tripod head can be used with virtually any spotting scope, DSLR and video camera. The head has two built-in spirit levels for easy leveling. With the 70mm long QP-70N Arca Swiss quick release plate, you align your camera or spotting scope perfectly. On the side there is a 3/8-inch screw hole where you can place an optional Magic arm with accessory. The 28cm long control arm of the BV-5 video head makes it easy to create calm and smooth tracking movements. The head's fluid cushioning prevents shaky images. The handle of the arm is covered with soft rubber foam to prevent cold hands in winter weather. The arm can be placed on either the left or right side of the video head. The fluid head can tilt a maximum of 90° forward and 75° backward. In addition, the BV-5 video head can rotate 360° on its axis, and the fine degree scale on the 50 mm wide base plate makes panorama work easy.
